Notwithstanding this success, unskilled labor has been a major impediment towards reaching a higher pace of growth. About 60% of the labor market of nearly 49.5 million comprise of youth (age 18 to 35). Out of this young labour force, about 40% or 11.9 million have little or no skills. Having low or no skills is a major reason for finding appropriate employment and earning. To address the above constraints\u2019, formation ISCs and its COE to develop skills in relevant sub-sectors under Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) project of ILO. The ISCs have been formed as a tripartite arrangement of the GOB, Development Partners, NGOs and Private sector led stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Centre of Excellence Agro Food Skills Foundation (CEAFS)\u201d is a Training Institue of Agro-Food ISC for Agro Processing sector.CEAFS is registered as nonprofit entity under Joint Stock (S-10602\/November 2009).\u00a0<\/strong>CEAFS has been working in close partnership with NSDC\u00a0secretary ILO and other national and international partners. It has conducted training of trainers (TOT) and trainings to develop capacity and knowledge within the industry.\u00a0 CEAFS aim is to emerge as a one stop services for industry driven training, research, course curriculum development and all other relevant skill development events in Agro-Food sub-sector. CEAFS would build its own capacity through national and international accreditation, certification, public private partnership (PPP) and public Private donor partnership (PPDP).CEAFS have been looking after various issues like the policy procedures, advocacy, monitoring of industry skill development practices including CBT&amp;A, Apprenticeship &amp; RPL training, KIZEN, SIYB, WISE, ETC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Vision: Agro skills Bangladesh<\/h4>\n<p><strong> Through:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skill development shared by the Gov\u2019t, industry, employees and civil society.
